Put away the pool net and forget about hand-washing the skimmer basket
If you’ve ever asked yourself whether a pool vacuum is a good purchase, stop. You connect it, drop it in the water, and turn it on. Come back later, turn it off, pull it out, and clean the trap. This is way better! The only caveat is that you need a way to pick up the robot out of the water after you turn it off and can’t use the power cord (towels are an easy solution). Don’t tie a rope to it–it will get pulled under. I bought this kind because I am too annoyed with battery-powered things running out of power. However some people love the battery-powered vacbots because they can be used when there is no power. I used this on a 37 feet by 16 feet kidney-shaped pool and the power cord is plenty long enough. Put away the pool net and forget about hand-washing the skimmer basket.
Works Great
Easy to use and works as intended. Easy to clean the filter basket. Material is not as fine as more expensive models, but this one works well. Other models have more intakes and are more powerful than this one, but it’s worth the money.
The cleaner is easy to use, and the water looks clean
This pool vac is easy to use and well-made. I like it. It worked well without issue, and I could tell water was interfering with its path, so I turned off my pool pump for a cleaner vacuum effect. The pool looked clean before vacuuming it, but it still gathered some debris, so I’m impressed. There were no tangles in the hose when using it. The filter is easy to clean too, so this seems like a good purchase.
